Craft specialises in high quality, beautifully crafted construction and refurbishment projects.
We cut our teeth on high end domestic projects, and today we apply our precision technical skills to commercial and civil engineering projects as well as domestic ones. We provide not only a practical skillset of unusual breadth but also an awareness of cutting edge techniques and a design vision that helps deliver successful projects down to the finest detail.
Founders Theo Pigny and Rory Hart combine a background in historic renovation and contemporary construction. They have assembled the Craft team from Rory’s 25 years in the construction industry, hand-picking the best of the people they worked with over that time. Everyone at Craft has chosen a career in the building industry and each of us is committed to the success of the business. We care about the quality of our work and enjoy delivering projects we are proud of.
When you work with Craft you’ll get a consistent Craft team, not a collection of disconnected subcontractors. The group assigned to a project will typically work on it from start to finish, helping us to understand the full scope of the challenge, build great relationships with clients, and finish every detail correctly.
We are based in Bradford on Avon on the Wiltshire-Somerset border, and work both in the West Country and increasingly in the Greater London area.
Sustainability matters
At Craft we believe in building to a sustainable ethos as well as a sustainable budget.
The UK’s buildings and how we use them are major contributors to our greenhouse gas emissions. This needs to change, and the technologies and materials exist to make change possible – they’re just not being used widely enough.
We apply green construction principles to all our work to reduce the impact on the environment and create healthier homes and workplaces. We achieve this by managing the building process in energy efficient ways, using natural, non-toxic materials wherever possible, and focusing specifically on increasing the energy and water efficiency of buildings.
Our aim is to meet our clients’ needs without compromising the future of our children, our grandchildren and generations beyond.
